''Kaka Is About More Than Money''

Spurns Manchester City's Big Money Offer so whatever the reason was—Kaka’s religious fanaticism, David Beckham’s insistence that Manchester City would never be as great as United or the fact that he just didn’t want to leave Italy (or, alternately, live in England)—the Brazilian maestro has decided to reject Sheikh Mansour and City’s bid for his services. The final rejected figure would’ve been around $150 million bucks, which actually delighted the Professional Footballers’ Association CEO Gordon Taylor. He felt that the bid would’ve put an albatross around the team’s neck, and subsequently, around the necks of every other team whose high-priced talent would want Kaka money. Personally, we feel that Kaka saw the message from God when seven people were killed over the weekend in the Brazilian church where he got married. Either that, or he was swayed by the throngs of people who chanted outside his window in Italy that they wanted him to stay.
